1. Clearing Hours
Participating Banks must send the payment instructions to the Clearing Bank via SWIFT (MT103, MT202,) before the cut-off time for same day value payments. Payment messages received after the stated cut-off times will be processed on the next business day.

 The Clearing Bank will direct the funds paid to China via CNAPS outside ICBC group.
 The Clearing Bank will direct the funds via Hong Kong RTGS for payments sent to Hong Kong.
 The Clearing Bank will direct the funds via book transfer if the Receiving Bank has an account with ICBC group.

* When it comes to Singapore / HK holidays, the clearing time may be adjusted and will notify in advance.

2. Clearing Days
Clearing operating days on Singapore public holidays

We will process payment instructions to or from Hong Kong and Mainland China on Singapore public holidays if :-

(a) that day is not a public holiday in Hong Kong or Mainland China; and

(b) *the transaction is not a suspected or indirect match on any lists issued by us, the PBC or the MAS or other international bodies for money laundering or terrorism financing or any sanctions. If it is an indirect or a suspected match, it will be processed (but payment may not necessarily be cleared) on the next Singapore working day after the Singapore public holiday.

1 No clearing services will be provided for payment to or from mainland China if that day is a public holiday in mainland China.
2 No clearing services will be provided for payment to or from Hong Kong if that day is a public holiday in Hong Kong.
