Mr. Zheng Chao  Minister Counsellor Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of The Embassy of The People’s Republic of China In The Republic of Singapore Mr. Zheng Chao graduated from Department of Civil Engineering, Tsinghua University, and joined the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (now MOFCOM) in the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation in 1985. Over 20 years, he has been doing the management and research of “going globally” strategy and was appointed Deputy Director General in May 2004. He served as diplomat in Economic & Commercial Counsellor’s Office of Embassy of P. R. China in Fiji and later in Thailand. He was the Deputy Mayor of Ma An shan Municipality, Anhui Province from 2007 to 2009. Before appointed Minister Counsellor, he was the Commercial Counsellor (DDG ranking) of Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation, MOFCOM. He is the professor invited specially for Institute of International Engineering Project Management, Tsinghua University. He wrote Case Study of China’s Overseas Contracting Projects, which is the first book of case-based study in this area. Mr. Zhou Yueqiu  General Manager of Custody Service Department Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC) Mr. Zhou has been engaging in financial field for 25 years, during which he spent 7 years on receiving financial education, 3 years in researching and 15 years in banking service. Now, Mr. Zhou is General Manager of Custody Service Department. He also serves as an instructor in Postdoctoral Workstation of ICBC and a guest professor in graduate school of Central University of Finance and Economics. In addition, Mr. Zhou is a member of China Society for Finance and Banking, the Securities Fund Committee of the Securities Association of China. Mr. Zhou received his doctor’s degree from Shanxi Institute of Finance and Economics in 1993. Then, Mr. Zhou joined ICBC in 1993, acting as a Deputy General Director in RMB Treasury Department. Before his current position, he had served as Deputy General Manager, holding the keys, of Custody Service Department, Deputy General Manager of RMB Treasury Department and Vice President of Hefei ICBC Branch in Anhui province. Mr. Zhang Weiwu  General Manager ICBC Singapore Branch Mr. Zhang Weiwu joined Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC) in 1999 after graduating with a Master’s degree in Economics from Northwest University in China. In August 2004, Mr. Zhang started to take on multiple managerial roles in the organization. He was the then Deputy Chief of Housing Credit Department in charge of personal banking business. In 2005, he was transferred to Restructuring Office where he oversaw the work of financial due diligence, property appraisal, auditing of overseas institutions and corporate governance structure in preparation for the IPO of ICBC. In 2006, Mr. Zhang went to Japan to further his studies after being awarded the government’s scholarship. After obtaining his MBA from Hitotsubashi University in 2007, Mr. Zhang returned to ICBC and served as the Executive Chief of Corporate Governance Planning Division of BOD Office. In March 2010, Mr. Zhang was appointed as the Head of ICBC (Europe) S.A. Amsterdam Branch Preparatory Team. From January 2011 to January 2013, as the General Manager, he helmed ICBC (Europe) S.A. Amsterdam Branch. In February 2013, Mr. Zhang was transferred to Singapore and is currently the General Manager of ICBC Singapore Branch. Mr. Jimmy Koh  Head, Managing Director Investor Relations and Research, UOB Joined UOB in 2000. Mr Koh has more than 15 years of experience in treasury and economics research. He pioneers and anchors a team of economists and strategists in macro-economic research for both the G7 & Asian Emerging Markets, as well as maintains close dialogues with various Asian Central Banks and multi-lateral agencies such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Jimmy also leads the UOB Investor Relations team. Under his leadership, the team was awarded “Grand Prix for Best Overall Investor Relations - Large Cap”, “Best Investment Meetings/One-On-Ones” and “Best Corporate Governance” by the IR Magazine. Ms. Cui Yan  Head of Global Service Division ICBC (Asia) Limited Ms. Yan Cui graduated from Research Institute for Fiscal Science, Ministry of Finance with a Ph.D on Management Specializing in Accounting and Computerization in 2008. She is now the Head of Global Custody Service Division, Custody Service Department, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Headquarter Office. Cui Yan started her career by working at the Data Warehouse of Commercial Bank after she obtained the Master degree. She used to be the Project Manager of Information Management Department, and the Vice Head of the Operation Center of Custody Service Department. She has comprehensive experience in Project Management, Global Custody Service and Custodial Operations. Ms. Pamela Yuen  Head of Custody Services ICBC (Asia) Limited Pamela Yuen established the Custody Services Department in ICBC (Asia) in June 2012. Since then, she built up the team and the servicing platform to extend the services from pure local custody for Hong Kong Market to global custody and fund services. The platform started serving clients in January 2013. The provision of trustee, custodian and fund services for public funds was also approved by SFC Hong Kong in mid 2013. Before joining ICBC (Asia), Pamela has worked in HSBC and Northern Trust on business development. She was the COO of ABN AMRO Securities (Japan) in 2000. She has worked in other fund management companies such as First State, ABN AMRO and was the Director of Client Services of Fidelity Hong Kong. Mr. Richard Tang  Chief Executive Officer ICBC Credit Suisse Asset Management (International) Richard Tang is the Chief Executive Officer of ICBC Credit Suisse Asset Management (International), the overseas and investment arm of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Mr Tang joined ICBCCS(I) in Aug. 2013, he is a firm believer of RMB Internationalization and responsible for all aspects of Chinese cross-boarder Investment including RQFII and QDII. Mr. Tang started his career with Prudential and was portfolio Manager there. Prior to taking up his current role, Mr. Tang was the Head of International Business Department and Fund Manager of Bank of China Investment Management. Ms. Angel Chia  Chief Executive Officer, Shenyin Wanguo Singapore Pte Ltd MD, Shenyin Wanguo Securities (H.K.) Ltd Ms. Chia currently heads Shenyin Wanguo’s institutional business development in ASEAN and Taiwan regions in her position as CEO, Singapore. She has been with Shenyin Wanguo for nearly 5 years. Prior to Shenyin Wanguo, Ms. Chia accumulated institutional Asia-ex-Japan equities sales experience via investment banks including ABN Amro and BNP Paribas in Taiwan, Hong Kong, New York and Singapore. |
