When you travel abroad with your credit card or using credit card to do online payment, please pay attention to the following:

1. Overseas transaction

The overseas cash withdrawal and magnetic stripe functions in your credit card have not been activated. Please remember to enable the overseas cash withdrawal and magnetic stripe functions on your card(s) if necessary.

You can Enable/Disable the overseas cash withdrawal and magnetic stripe on your card(s) via:-

1）   Call our 24-hour hotline 65 - 6369 5588；

2）   Visit our branches during operating hours with valid identification documents；

3)    Lock/Unlock Overseas Transaction Lock via ICBC Internet Banking (online/mobile).

Please note that this function will remain activated until you deactivate it. For security measures, we advise you to deactivate this function as soon as you return from your overseas trip.

2. Card-Not-Present Transaction

Online payment provide convenience for our life, then also greatly increase the fraud risk of unauthorised transaction. In order to prevent such risk, you can set to Lock/Unlock the Card-Not-Present Transaction Lock according to your needs in the following ways:

1)   Log in to ICBC Internet Banking to Lock/Unlock the Card-Not-Present Transaction Lock.

(If you do not need online payment, you can activate the function, then all online payment will be not allowed.)

2)   Log in to ICBC Mobile bank APP to Lock/Unlock the Card-Not-Present Transaction Lock.

(If activate this function,3DS transaction (verified by VISA and Mastercard SecureCode) will not be effected, but non-3DS transaction will not be allowed).

Above functions, can be enable/disable by immediate effect, you can set up freely according to your needs.
